AtlantaHotWings 1,124 Report post Posted January 29 Curiosity got the best of me d*mn these boring training calls. as of today Sens 50 GP 56 points in 3rd Wings 50 GP 53 points so a mere 3 points with games being even WC 1/2 Bruins 52 GP 56 points WC1 Tampa 49 GP 55 points WC2 so they are in contention for 3rd or WC1 We are 3 back of Bruins with 2 games in hand but then again so are the Sens, Habs, Rags, Jackets Getting to the playoffs definitely hinges on winning in division like Kip stated earlier. 2 kipwinger and Rick D reacted to this

A dramatization would work too. Like Chernobyl. With Jonah Hill as Lalonde.
mackel 763 Report post Posted February 1 Lalonde's problem was he's a beta personality. He played and coached to 'not lose'. He needed to take a few risks like splitting Ed and Mo, playing Albert, calling up Elmer... but he was playing it so safe he couldn't. Not to mention how he coached with a lead.... 1 Rick D reacted to this
Jimmybigrigs69 366 Report post Posted March 28 (edited) Mcllelan comes in and seemingly saves the team... few months later and its in absolutely tatters again. Hmmmmm Its almost like... maybe we dont have a coaching problem? Maybe we have a roster problem? Its almost like failing to choose a teams direction leads to perpetual mediocre picks and mediocre talent, which pertually makes you mediocre, and therefore you perpetually draft more mediocre talent, and you perpetually end up with mediocre results... allowing to perpetually draft more mediocre talent. A cyclical self fufilling prophecy. This is a league designed for tanking or going all in. And that is why Yzerman has failed.
