Kasper is looking like a Michael Rasmussen level top 10 pick.  I didn't like the pick when it was made and he's unfortunately not proving me wrong

I dont mind top 15 picks turning into great bottom 6 guys (Veleno, Kasper, MBN, Rasmussen).  I just dont like it when we pay bottom 6 guys top 6 money (Compher, Copp).

He's still an undersized rookie. He's going to need a little time to lock down a regular spot in the lineup. Our defense isn't great, but he's still competing with guys who have had more than a decade of NHL experience. It's hard to take one of those roster spots...unless you're Simon Edvinsson.
