He's got three 20 goal seasons and two 30 goal seasons under his belt. If he's truly a comparable then I'd imagine Lucas would make less than Konecny given that his track record of success is much shorter.

Raymond has one less than what you just said at 4 years younger.  ???

He’s just asking to get waived and/or bought out.

HF Boards NYR fans have been disappointed with him in both his apparent decline in play and rejecting any trade.

We know who wears the pants in that family!

Seider is getting bridged.

Yeah - I have a feeling Seider will sign a bridge for 2 reasons:

1) CBA expires in 2 years after the 2025/2026 season: BoG in the past has been rumored in wanting to lower contract length ie from 8yrs/7yrs to what could be as low as 6yrs/5yrs...Of course the NHLPA would  want UFA at 25, or 26 which would benefit bridge deals for both Seider and Raymond.

2) Yzerman will want neither Seider nor Raymond to make more than Larkin at this time...However a few years from now, cap likely to increase, new CBA, an experienced/mature Seider and Raymond will likely be able to command more than Larkins aav (in particular Seider).

EDIT 3 REASONS...

We now have 3 assistant GMs.

Horcoff managing the Griffins, Draper managing scouting, and now director of hockey ops, Aaron Kahn, has been promoted to AGM. He's a lawyer, so I assume his thing is contracts and salary cap. New Ryan Martin.

The Wings are a no-playoff team but up against the cap. Great job, Kahn.

Man, what the fk is the SCAM waiting for?  Why give the other GM's a reason to figure things out before you?  This isn't hard at all.

Seider - 8 years, 8.5 per.

Raymond - 8 years, 8.5 per.

Berggren - 2 years, 1.5 per.

Trade: Broberg and Holloway for 2025 1st, 2025 3rd, 2026 2nd, 2027 1st, 2027 3rd.

If Edm GM won't take the extra 1st and 3rd in 2027, then offer sheet those guys.

We can figure out how to "Manage" the cap after we get the puzzle pieces in place.
