LeftWinger 5,065 Report post Posted June 13 28 minutes ago, Scott R Lucidi said: This would be incredible I'm currently working in Capfriendly with all these trades to see what is left over in cap. I don't see the need to have Gustavsson and Husso on the team, so I will probably just buy him out or dump him for a 4th or 5th to get more cap space. And I still might try to do the Calgary trade for Sharangovich. I just have to find the article about that proposed deal, I know it involved Maatta.
LeftWinger 5,065 Report post Posted June 13 (edited) Ok, so here's where I am. I am currently roughly $680k over the cap, with only 22 players. I might have to forego one of Perron or Kane. Unless Kane would do a nice deal again for some term. (note: I traded Husso to Calgary because I am going with them dealing Markstrom away.) Also, I traded Copp back to Winnipeg where he had a lot of success, and could become a leader for them. In the Sharangovich deal, the original one I saw had Veleno going back, but I already traded him, so maybe a nice top prospect would enough to let Yegor go. Here's the signings. Could possibly skip Perron and bring up 2 kids in his place to fill out the roster, or even let Kane walk because with Guentzel, Jeannot and Sharangovich, we may not need his offense. Unless he'd take 3x$3.5M to help us out! Leftover draft picks, including the #12 overall. ...and finally, the roster how it sits. Feel free to pick it apart to see how we could get under the cap and have 23 players with room for injury call ups. Edited June 13 by LeftWinger

Bro, Be a good fantasy GM and LTIR Husso for 75 games. That will free up 4 million for you. https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm Check out the Scotterplan. The SCAM should do this. 1 LeftWinger reacted to this

Limit the trading to 3 trades. That would be outrageous activity for the SCAM during one period of time. 7 is just like top of my head coming off outrageous. 2 LeftWinger and Jimmybigrigs69 reacted to this

I have zero interest in Jeannot Berggren is worth more to me than what comes back in the philly trade The Minny trade is ridiculous, and they won't be looking to move Rossi Copper aint being traded But other than that, cool

stephen-gregory-yzerman 129 Report post Posted June 13 Just noticed Jiris son Lukas Fischer is a prospect in this draft. 6'4 LD projected to go in the 2nd-3rd round Id be good with Yzerman grabbing him in the 3rd if hes still available. 2 mackel and Scott R Lucidi reacted to this

Fischer actually looks like he could be a player. Plays similar to his old man real good skater and physical. 1 Scott R Lucidi reacted to this

town123 212 Report post Posted June 14 I've been looking at some kids that might/could be available at #15. This is my order and why. #1 Stian Solberg LD who lists Seider as his favourite player, has nice edge work and can be nasty like Sieder and Kronwall. #2. Michael Hage C a tonne of offensive upside and a good compete level. #3 Carter Yakemchuk RD great shot, big kid with okay wheels #4. Michael Brandsegg Nygard C a tougher Bear-grin clone that might stick at C If Catton or Silayev slip..... pretend you didn't read this.

Love his game but prefer going F in the 1st. I think Yak goes top 10. Catton is my #1. No way he makes it to 15 though. Hage or MBN would be ok picks. I see MBN as more of a Kasper clone then Berg. Everyone is ranking D low and Forwards high again. It never works out like that. A buncha D the pundits rank 10-25 will end up going 5-20 or something like that, pushing forwards down. But it sounds like SY will probably tradeup from 15.
