There was a similar more impressive play he made last night to hold the zone. bIueadams 776 Report post Posted October 4, 2022 The problem with comparing Seider and Lidstrom is they are so different in style. Lids style: Autistic Swedish Rain Man Quiet. Reserved. Perfectionist. Never does anything flashy. Methodical. Never makes mistakes. Detail oriented. So subtlety good to the point you don't even realize how perfect his reads and positioning are, or him batting pucks down on the chip on. Offensive game the same way. Not flashy, but text book perfect. Predictably perfect. The correct pass. The correct shot. Intelligent. A coaches dream. Mo style: Bullheaded brute force chad Loud. Full of personality and Charisma. Flashy and capable. Will go to extremes to finish the play. Whereas Lids would predict a play and then execute it to take himself out of danger to be hit, Seider instead flagrantly puts himself directly into danger to complete the play and reserve hits the checker. ******* jumps to catch pucks. Fearless. Aggressive. Instinctual. A coaches dream.
