diehardredwingsfan58 157 Report post Posted December 9, 2023 With his 6th goal this evening, Simon Edvinsson has 10 points in his last 7 games. He's as NHL ready as there will ever be. Yzerman needs to start making some decisions on D sooner rather than later. 3 kipwinger, Akakabuto and mackel reacted to this

Particularly his shot, and his confidence in it. Edited December 9, 2023 by kipwinger

I could live with this: Walman/Edvinsson-Seider Walman/Edvinsson-Gostisbehere Chiarot-Holl Petry 1 Rick D reacted to this

Yeah Maatta was who i was eluding to, just take a 2024 or 2025 4th round pick. And be done with it. 1 hour ago, kipwinger said: This guy is such a beast. Wings in the future should be pretty lethal on the power play and have one of the best D's in the league. All 3 should at least be in the 50-60 point per season mark. If not even higher. 1 Rick D reacted to this

He wasn't ready to start the season. There haven't been any injuries on D. The only D who could reasonably be traded to make room (Maatta and Ghost) have been better than those who can't be traded (Chiarot/Petry).

I'm assuming we'll be in the playoff mix at the deadline ruling out a trade.

With no obvious "pooper scooper" team like Arizona had been I don't see anyone taking him off our hands.

kipwinger 8,670 Report post Posted December 17, 2023 Lombardi looked fantastic last night. Probably his best game. When he gets serious about his training and puts on that Berggren weight he's going to be a menace.
mackel 735 Report post Posted December 17, 2023 With CAR putting Rantta on waivers we should add Reimer to try and sneak him through. Then call up Berger or Edvinsson and sit some dead weight in the press box.
