Cossa is a bust. Calling it already. And then hoping it happens. Will crush any reasonable optimism as stupidity.

Something that's been lost in the weeds a little bit as a result of the Cossa thing, but how about Nate Danielson scoring 5 points in two games? Not too shabby for one of the younger players, in one of the biggest roles, on the team. I liked seeing him out there on the PK as well.

He was the only player that gave me any optimism at the Tournament.

I wouldn't go that far personally, but I do think that the book on him (he doesn't score much) is probably not accurate. I do think he needs to shoot more though, which I imagine will come with age and development. Not too bad for one of the younger players in the tournament.

Where are you seeing this? The stat line I seen was 2 GP - 0 G - 5 A - 5 PTS - 6 S - 0 +/-

Soda is still not NHL ready. Needs to fill out his huge frame. Cossa looked like a deer in headlights. Kasper is not Fantilli, but I would have expected him to at least stand out over the competition based on the hype. Mazur got injured so I will give him a pass. Edvinsson and ASP weren't there, so they get a pass too. Wallinder was...there.

Forgot about Lombardi. He did show up.

Our best prospects should have been Kasper and Cossa. Instead they were Danielson and Lombardi. Uh oh.

To be fair, Kasper had to rehab his knee for most of the offseason. I'm not shocked to see him be a step behind.

Kasper played the first two games with bums on his wings and he still generated a ton of scoring chances. Then I’m the 3rd game he finally got to play with decent wingers and not surprisingly he had two points. I’m not worried about his offense at all.
