I'm sure 31 of 32 NHL teams feel the same way. Which is likely why he hasn't been traded yet. That said, wanting to trade for him would depend on the price. Hopefully buffalo is waiting too long and the price starts going down. I'd agree we're a dark horse for eichel, but still don't think it's very likely... The whole reason they're trading him is because they don't agree with his preferred treatment plan. Whoever acquires him will need to let him do his thing, otherwise they'd be right where Buffalo already is. I think their price IS too high, otherwise a trade would have happened by now. But I think there's a disconnect between Buffalo and the rest of the league on just how much lower it should be. I think Buffalo knows they're not getting four 1st round equivalents (as they'd originally asked). Nobody gets traded for that kind of return.
