No, what we need is a guy who's good with kids. A guy who can train them up... perhaps someone with success at the AHL level? 1 Like Blashill? 1 1 RedWingsRox and ChristopherReevesLegs reacted to this

Well - considering it was Buffalo, and apparently their golden child Eichel didn't like Bylsma...I'd take that all with a grain of salt. 3 hours ago, HadThomasVokounOnFortSt said: That’s alright. He is their golden god. 1 F.Michael reacted to this

And if Eichel wasn't on the same page, you gotta ask, why wasn't he ... 'he's won a Cup with Pittsburgh'. And why can't Bylsma do anything right now, he was hired to coach offense and special teams. That said, Buffalo probably shouldn't have been a juggernaut under Bylsma, but they should have been better. A team with Eichel, O'Reilly, Reinhart, Okposo, Kane, Ennis, Ristolainen, etc. should probably not have been so far in the cellar.

Agreed with the later, but Mittelstadt hasn't added much so far and Dahlin has been steady defensively but hasn't really chipped in the offense he was expected to. Ullmark has been good so far, and their top line of Skinner - Eichel - Pomminville has been carrying the team
mackel 739 Report post Posted November 4, 2018 LA fired their coaching staff today... they have 1 less point in 1 less game than the Wings.... here's hopeing this gives Kenny some ideas!! 1 F.Michael reacted to this
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted November 4, 2018 The time to fire blashill would have been three years ago. Now we are committed to the rebuild so we need a s***ty coach to maximize our chances of a good draft pick. Then when the cupboard is adequately stocked, we shop for a competent head coach. They could easily turn this season around yet. Blashill won at the AHL level, and this is an AHL team.
