Depends on what his priorities are I guess. He hasnt played good (superstar Kane level good) since DCat left the Hawks. So maybe he wants to take a discount to recapture that chemistry?

DCat - Larkin - Kane could be an insane top line. I think it would make us a postseason team overnight.

My guess is a contract would have to be $4×1 with a full NMC so he can control where he goes at the TDL if we dont make it.

You can almost double that about 3 shift in to Fabbri's pre-season.

Kaner did say he was going to wait and see and probably sign mid season. Cou)d sign him the moment a Fabbri type goes down.

Since we love spreading unsubstantiated rumors, i did hear a conspiracy that Kane wasnt actually injured, but checked himself into rehab, and the league used the injury excuse to keep it hush hush. Which is why hes recovered way fast from this injury and says he now "feels the best hes ever felt".

Or he did have MAJOR hip surgery and his skating may very well never be the same again.

im suggesting 5 mil actually paid over the games he plays.  Im expect 40 games out of him with his season starting mid jan.  So 10 mil prorated to 5 fof half a season.  Are you saying 7 mil prorated to 3.5 for 40 gp?  I think thats what Steve will offer.  If youre saying 7 mil paid for half a season, I think youre a ways off.

LOL Poulin isn't any expert, It was already reported at last trade deadline, That Patrick Kane wanted no part of Toronto. Kane reportedly wants top line minutes and that's not happening in Toronto. I still think it's either Buffalo or Detroit.
