In his second game with Toronto on Oct. 9, Babcock felt taken back a bit when he was honored on the Joe Louis Arena video board for his accomplishments during the decade he spent in Detroit.

I meant tonights puck drop time, not just the start of the broadcast. I think they have a HOF ceremony before the game today and that's why the broadcast starts early at 7. I'm trying to figure out what time I need to make it to a TV by.

I'm guessing around 7:30 maybe...

The Leafs must be feeling pretty confident considering how they got their second win of the season not too long ago, and they always play better than expected when you least expect it, so I have a feeling they'll put up a bit more of a fight this time around. Either way, Wings v Leafs games are always entertaining to watch, especially more so now that they have Babcock as their coach. Here's to a good game between classic rivals!

Awesome GDT graphic as always! I've got burgers and my infamous bacon steaks on the grill for the game (bacon sliced at number 19 on the slicer, in honor of Stevie Y, about 4 oz per slice with dry rub that carmelizes into a bbq sauce as the fat cooks on the bacon). The Wings will be even more awesome than that against the Make Beliefs just to tick off Babs. Franzen's instagram will blow up the Internet. Jurassic Mrazek will stalk the puck like a velociraptor, rack up another assist or two. Hank gets number 300 (this... Is... Detroit hockey!). The team gets a total of 5 goals in honor of Lidstrom going into the hall of fame.
