Wouldv'e liked to to have seen a little more from the other lines but overall a pretty good effort. Toronto has a loooonnnnngggg way to go! We'll see how quickly they can come together because they sure looked lost tonight! Anyone else notice how lazy and ineffective Phanuef was? He turned the puck over, lost many battles, and just looked like he didn't give a damn. Not a great attitude for a "C". Carolina should be a better "gauge" for the Wings, and Tampa is always tough so neither one is going to be cake walk and nearly as easy as tonight. Should be an entertaining season! At the very lest he would have never been playing with Z on the first line. I'm so glad we have a new coach. It looked like a different Wings team.
