Both Athanasiou and Larkin shoot left. LH tend to be faster leaning left, with their stick tilted towards the ice, which is their Left. Try it out yourself to get a feeling what I'm murmuring about. So the right side of the graph is correct, that's their optimal pattern but not that steep to the middle. So their optimal trajectories should be somewhat like the black lines illustrated in the picture below.
