We need an end game on the pp. At least some sort of goal - like trying to get it low or moving the goalie laterally. right now we are just treading water. Exactly. Helm defines our top 6 with a grinder missing an open net and gets put out to start the power play on the very next shift. We have a guy who doesn't have a career NHL point that averages more PP minutes then our young offensive defensemen. A power play that is completely broken yet the lineup is set in stone. The amazing thing about Howard is that he stopped some crazy good chances by Pittsburgh and allowed 2 relatively soft goals. That's why as a goalie he can be frustrating. I'm not excited to make Babcock the highest paid coach in the NHL that busts my nuggets every night when he puts helm and abby in the top 6 and juggles the d pairs every night.
