He will begin practicing with them on Feb. 19. fml This affects the Wings because...? He can't be in GR, they have to recall him. It does absolutely nothing except keep him form playing for the Griffins, which a lot of people complained that he was doing anyway.

rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted February 10, 2014 I thought he was hurt. Hopefully the Wings just put him on LTIR and be done with it. When he says he's better, they look sternly at him and with a stiff upper lip say, "No, you're still hurt." 1 55fan reacted to this

Just retire already!!!!!! Both Sheahan & Glendening are making their way down to GR to continue playing during the break. Given the amount of games that Glendening's played already at the NHL level though, he has to wait another week until he can join the Griffs. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2014/02/riley_sheahan_luke_glendening.html

Just retire already!!!!!! Then his entire cap hit would count. If he retired they would have enough cap space for everyone who can be sent down, plus Eaves and Cleary, to play in GR, and recall Emmerton. Glendening would make too much money at that point.
