Barrie 900 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 I put these clips on my Facebook. My favorite moment of the playoffs so far is Helm vs. Jovanovski. Never show people up like that! It'll comeback to haunt you. 4 Klunzo, Hossa4Life, thegerkin and 1 other reacted to this
evilzyme 769 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 I'm sorry but you shouldn't be allowed to talk s*** when you're wearing a cage, makes you look like the biggest *****. 9 lookalive07, Hockeymom1960, Din758 and 6 others reacted to this

Donaldjr2448 43 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 First off I am still pissed that there was a penalty called on the first hit! That was a clean shoulder to shoulder hit! The second one just shows that Helm doesn't care how big you are or how physical you are, he will beat you at any style you want to play!! Gotta love this Kid! Then the fact we scored off their Big Goon ass get smoked by Helm was simply icing on the cake!! To add insult to the first goal it was Salei that scored it! 1 Rick D reacted to this
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Jovo had one or two decent seasons when the Canucks were rolling with Bert and Naslund, but that's it. He's an idiot that takes stupid penalties and makes dumb plays and is way overpaid. Helm has abused him in this series and I love it.

GSBrooks13 204 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 God that cage pisses me off. I hope that if game 4 gets out of hand Bert peels that cage off his ugly face and re-breaks that orbital bone. See how tough he is then. 1 Rick D reacted to this
Blaayze 25 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Gotta believe he thinks he is Stephane Robidas 2.0, less stick but more *****! God that guy was terrible with his stick when he was protected by that cage. :battle:

HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 As I have said, Helm is just in his head. He somehow was able to go through the cage, through Jovo's thick skull, penetrated the area where most people have a brain and he is just in there. Knocking him off the puck, skating circles (as he normally does) and making him look totally pathetic out there. Bert has to be enjoying this secretly watching this. Helm > Jovo by a landslide. Blaayze 25 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Yeah I understand he is a veteran and everything but with a cage on just stfu and sit down. Exactly it! As a veteran, you would think he would know how to act at this point in his career. Guess not. That is what is so frustrating to me, this isn't his first time around this roller-coaster, he has to know what hes doing is stupid. :nonono:
motorcitykid 42 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Yes!! Helm is looking great out there and as another poster said he is definitely in Jovos head. Meanwhile in the other 29 NHL cities, we keep hearing how the Wings are made up of 3 guys - Zata, Pavs and Lids. SMH. The depth just keeps coming back to bite other teams in the ass. I could care less if it's the overhyped Canucks with that sieve in net, or anyone else we meet next round. Again and again, year after year, if the Wings are HEALTHY!!!! there is simply no team that can match up against us. Kudos for mini-Draper Helm leading the young guns again this playoff!! HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Kudos for mini-Draper Helm leading the young guns again this playoff!! Not trying to kill the post, but this part is wrong. I know what you were saying here but Helmer is molding into his very own type of player that teams will definitely have to start planning for. His development with the Wings has probably been my favorite to watch in the history of the franchise. And that is saying an awful lot.
LadyInRed 33 Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Watching those videos again make me love Helm even more! I love how he stayed so calm & acted like he didn't give a s*** when Jovanovski grabbed his face, then banged him into the boards like a beast
