Also it seems like Datsyuk isn't actively looking for his own offense. Not that I'm complaining, it's just interesting to watch him focus so intently on the defensive end.

Funny you should mention that. I watched most of the game and found myself wondering who #28 was, and why he kept screwing up. BAD passing and not good positonally. He got a little better later but jeeze...

I think it's the same as Iginla being asked to play physical. I think it's that most of the team can score but not many players can be as defensive as he can. That's why he's being asked to play like that. He shut down Jagr.

Didn't see the whole game just the 3rd. Anytime there's a public skate on the weekend at the rink I'm there. Unfortunately it was from 1-3 and I had some things to do afterwards. Saw Datsyuk score his emptynetter.

It's probably because Dats is the best defensive player on the team, including the Dmen.
