a few things....

Holy f***, who is that guy wearing number 30 and where the hell did he go? I forgot just how amazing Ozzy was in the playoffs last year.

Hossa's goals and points just kind of make me laugh now...and

34.4 seconds still ******* kills me. Seeing the excitememnt and the joy when Raffy scored, man, there's nothing better than that, winning it at home would of been incredible, oh well, the cup is the cup.

Stumbled across these on Youtube, watched them all and just had to share. I felt the electricity of each goal all over again. :)

As much as I enjoy each and every Wings game..... I cannot WAIT for the playoffs to start again!

Man watching that gives me goosebumps. I feel like i have a cup hangover as much as the players looked like they were suffereing from one earlier this season. And by hangover i mean i completely forgot how dominant the wings were and how out of their minds they played. Watching those videos, i dont think i have ever seen ozzie play better. EVER, and i had completely forgotten about his BACK TO BACK shutouts to start the finals. And to top it off, he wasnt even the starter going into playoffs. Then you see Franzen who just dismantles the avs and scores at will. Then there is Zetterberg. MAN. I forgot how dominant that guy can be when on a line with Dats and homer and i would really love to see him play with them more often now to rekindle that flame. The only criticism to those videos would be not putting Zetterbergs awesome defenseive play i think it was on crosby that practically saved a goal and the game during the finals. As much as it excited me to watch these, it really made me miss Dallas Drake haha. And i would really love to see Kronner throw some of those body checks. You watch these videos and see how intense the wings played during playoffs, and it makes me wish they played like that throughout this season as well, but as long as they can have the same tenacity this year in playoffs ill be a happy camper. Thanks for posting the vids!

That was fun to watch again :)

What a great run. How amazing was Zetterberg? That play for the 4-2 goal in the 3rd game against Dallas was unbelievable.

And Kronner with his hits, hopefully he can get back his confidence and start dealing them out again this year.

Btw, who's that guy with no.3 that was falling over in our zone and giving away pucks? Glad we have Lilja now instead of him.

when Rafalski scores, when I was watching it i KNEW it was the Cup winner.... there was so much excitement in the arena, and even from "Doc", who doesn't really like when the Red Wings score on teh Penguins.....

winning at home would have been so much more fitting. i wish it was at home cuz there'd be more celebrating, and not just SILENCE at Mellon Arena ...... meh, what's done is done, i suppose

If it helps ease the blow, my wife and I drove 9 hours just to get there and I was 34.4 seconds away from witnessing my favorite team in all of sports win the most coveted trophy on their home ice. I don't think I'll ever be ok with it until I'm at the next Wings home Cup-Clinching game that they actually win. For me, no sports event has ever been more painful than that finish.

despite what i said in my previous post....

at least you can look on the bright side, and your ridiculously expensive tickets almost got you TWO whole games worth of exciting hockey in one night!

that being said, it would have been better if the WINGS got some powerplays in OT....

True, but it doesn't make it any less painful.

After watchin video 4 I realized something. I keep hearing pen's fans complain about M.A. Fleury, and how he shouldnt be number 1 blah blah blah(god could they whine anymore, and I thought Toronto's fan base whines alot) Um they must have not seen him play in the SCF cuz they where to focused on trying to suck crosby's d*ck  (because even though they lost, M.A. Fleury made some remarkable saves)

The Joe exploded when Rafalski scored and the place was about ready to fall down and then it happened. Most painful moment at the Joe for me.
