octopusonice 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 Good thinking on cutting out the middle man. Do all the lettering yourself (well kinda). I've made a couple of trips out to Detroit just to see the Wings play. Was last there in April 2002 and stopped by Hockeytown Authentics. They had a whole bunch of Osgood jerseys on clearance for about $35 or so. If you had a crystal ball, that would have been a super good deal, but at the time (when Hasek was so hot and Legace was a solid backup) Ozzie was in bad favor and a St. Louis Blue. WingNut 25 5 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 I plan on getting a Hossa jersey as he has always been one of my fav NHLers outside of Detroit. I'm kinda waiting to see what happens with the Winter Classic and if the Wings will wear a retro style jersey or have a cool patch on there. I still plan on getting a Franzen, Rafalski and Kronwall jersey with 08 Cup patches before I get a Hossa.
wingsfan979802 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 does anyone know when and where i can buy a hossa jersey? like when are they avalible?
Cern 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 If the Wings are involved in the next Winter Classic and they use some kind of vintage one-off, I'm definately getting a Hossa jersey. Their standard jerseys look too similar to the previous ones to warrant buying another.
weGotTheCup89 41 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 most of the squared numbers are pretty sweet... eg. 1, 9, 16, 25 all mean something to all wings fans already. now 81!
Cern 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 If you want a jersey bust, when I saw the Wings play at Vancouver the season before last there were two guys with Wings Bertuzzi jerseys. He wasn't even back from his injury during that game.
Holmstrom96Screens 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 the order of player jerseys to get for me would be: datsyuk, lidstrom, zetterberg, kronwall, holmstrom, franzen, osgood and then hossa. so there's no way i'm buying #81 any time soon. for now i'll just stick with my #91. i already have a Holmstrom jersey I bought some weeks ago and I wear it all the time hehe so i guess my others in order would be dats, zetty, Cleary, Franzen, Liddy, Rafalski and um...yea. those are my biggest faves on the wings i like them all but those are my faves but sorry no hossa I wouldnt get a hossa i dont really care for him maybe later i might consider caring but i still wont buy his jersey. Guest Hatethedrake! Report post Posted July 12, 2008 Man I bet you hope he comes back next year. HEHE Yeah I sure do! Even if he doesn't, it will still be worth it to wear it around my Leaf fan friends and rub their faces in it. WINGS get Hossa. Leafs get FINGER. Any questions?
