lamf 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 (edited) id like to see the wings get him since kariya signed in nashville Lang for Sullivan would be great and it would free up some cap space And it would help on the right side Edited August 14, 2005 by lamf
ColdWarrior 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 Lang for Sullivan would be great and it would free up some cap space And it would help on the right side Wow, what a great idea... then if we could get Whitney back we could have this as our top line!!!! Whitney / Hudler / Sullivan We could call it the Oompa-Loompa line! Or, better yet... give them all lollipops and they could strike fear into their opponents by singing "We represent, the lollipop guild, the lollipop guild, the lollipop guild." Hell, let's just get rid of everyone over 5'10".
dteowner 20 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 Hell, let's just get rid of everyone over 5'10". Sad thing is that we could just about ice a full team after "all of our giants" are gone.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 I'd like a guy like Sullivan on the Wings, but keep dreaming if you think Nashville is going to even consider trading him anytime soon.

Unlike Lang who had 5 (1-4) points in 6 games, Sullivan add 12 (6-6) in his first 6 games and 30 (9-21) in 24 games with Nashville and he didn't miss a game unlike Lang who missed 10 games with the Wings and not to mention that Sullivan's 4 years younger and Nashville might be thinking of trading him since there looking for a first line center. CupCrazy22 8 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 I don't think he is going anywhere. Would be a good fit, however.

It's all about the playoffs baby. Sullivan was 1G 1A through six games, Lang was 2G 4A.

carpediem 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 I agree we need some big guy representation. It seems like the Wings have a reputation of getting smaller and older players. I'm excited to see DRW Lang for a full (hopefully) season. Franzen is at least 6' and over 200#. Kopecky 6'3".
