I think I was in that seat a time or 2...... And the owners of those teams built and use arenas in those cities willingly.... something I do not see Mike Illitch doing with the Red Wings.

It would take place in the city not a college campus. the game is set up to give the city its played in recognition. with the winter blast going on the city is the place. Illitch would not be happy taking a game like that out of the city with as much as he tries to do for it. What kind of camera what that taken with??? what was the zoom on it?

It looks to me that this was taken about half way down.... if not closer when you count the rows. any stadium that holds 100,000+ is NOT gonna be like this at the top... Closer to the one I posted. Big House is OK for college...Student discounts on tickets and such.... too big.

Comerica Park please.... Id like to go and I am not gonna pay good money to see this So how is the 3rd largest stadium have closer seating than a baseball park? what the hell am I looking at here!?!? looks like a bug farm on white poster board. THIS is too far away for a professional hockey game IMO.

Good Point.. Better trade him before he goes back to himself.... He's riding a high right now, can't argue that... But he will become invisible again... If you can get rid of him and his contract... Id say you should consider it.

Agree.. If you are not signed by a NHL team by say....the Christmas Trade freeze ( or some reasonable point in the season) all players attempting to return should pass through re-entry waivers. or have no waivers at all and let the team that singed the player keep them.

JUST PLAY!!!! use this as a way to keep loose and ready...then the season ends and you can tell Meehan to block all calls from one Garth Snow and go where you want. Even IF Not one of their players have a + rating right now.... Just play it out.. Nobody expects them to win much even with Nabokov...who knows Garth will see that and maybe try to do something. -
