My biggest concern with him is that he never sets foot on North American ice. You cannot micromanage your GM. Its ridiculous if true.

Could turn out to be another Juolevi. And he is a RHD, which would put him behind both Mo and ASP. I would be interested, but wouldn't offer more than a prospect D not named ASP, and a pick. Which I doubt they would take. I think they would be more interested in someone like Campbell or Husso as a stop gap.

I also predicted the Wings being a Wild Card team, lol. From what I have heard from Boston fans, they were interested in Q, but he wants to come in with his own staff. That would have required blowing up the whole coaching staff mid-season, and the Bruins want to make the playoffs. My guess is Boston signs him in the off season, when they can do a full staff reset.

They werent brought in to be impactful. They were brought in to fill out the roster and be placeholders until the top 4 is filled with youth. Too many fans assume that because guys like Chiarot and Petry are getting big minutes, SY and Lalonde view them as top end D, when they both know these guys are playing above their skill level.

Can they do this for the purpose of LTIR if its an extended injury? Thought the League would have a rule against this. Edit: It appears Lyon has a LBI and Husso is back from injury.

Offensive teams lose because they hit a hot goalie and cant score. Defensive teams can still expect to score 1 or 2 goals a game. The former is more feast or famine. The latter is consistently more reliable.
