Yup, difference is that he would be learning. Right now, he's wasting.

Butt Plug Dildo Ball Gag No other team would play this TRASH in front of first and 2nd round picks. The SCAM and DyckNose are completely lost.
-
The reality is I thought we only had the Dildo and The Butt Plug on defense. Gustafsson rounds out the hat trick. He's the Gag Ball. We have 3 complete TRASH defensemen playing when we could have had ZERO. Broberg - Seider Edvinsson - ASP Maatta - Holl Johansson We could have opened up with that. The SCAM and DyckNose chose to play 3 sex toys this year. Total FAIL. COMPLETE TRASH.
-
5-1. Gustafsson is the 3rd sex toy on this team. He sucks the high hard one too. What a GD joke. This GM and coach can eat a big penis. They are failing.
-
Why can our GM and coach not notice that #8 and #46 cripple this team? Its beyond disgustingly obvious. Another PK. Plug out again. Christ. Plug 4GA.
-
Gotta kill a penalty. But we wont. Cuz Plug Yup, plug. 3GA ******* Chiarot. Guy sucks so bad

Mo!!!

Butt Plug on the ice again. 2 GA. Thanks, plug.

Butt Plug - MINUS ONE. Not raking his man, as usual. Gustafsson sucks, btw. He's another pile of TRASH.

Can't wait to see Chiarot and Petry look clueless for 18 minutes a night this year and wreck what could be a good season. Thanks SCAM. Thanks Dycknose. This team was so close to be REALLY good. I think we'll end up making the playoffs, but it's not going to be a smooth ride like it should have been.

ok, so you're NOT WATCHING. That's understandable. I get that.

Dude, His entire leg went 90 degrees. I'm glad he had the socks on tight. That probably prevented him from going full Theisman compound fracture. I think his leg must have had a small hairline fracture in it prior to that play. It gave way very easily.
-
ha ha ha ha. That's him!!!

Id get Watt and Crosby. Give up all your picks.

Just say "I agree, Scott". It's easier, my guy.

13 Feet Wider and 3 Feet Shorter in the SHL vs the NHL. The ice rinks used in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) are 30 meters by 60 meters (98.42 ft by 196.85 ft), which meets international standards. Here are some other dimensions of an ice hockey rink: Faceoff circle: 29.5 ft (9 m) in diameter Referee's crease: 19.75 ft (6 m) in diameter Corner radius: 8.5 meters (27.9 ft) Goal line: 4 meters (13.1 ft) from the end boards Blue line: 22.86 meters (75.0 ft) from the end boards Goal crease: 12 ft (3.66 m) in diameter Faceoff spot: 1 ft (.3 m) in the center, 2 ft (.6 m) elsewhere The ice surface is typically a thin layer of ice over a painted concrete base. The ideal thickness of the ice is 3/4 of an inch (1.905 centimeters) so that it's hard enough for a fast game.

This was an obvious LTIR opportunity that wasn't capitalized on. The Red Wings have a GM that's pulled the wool over the hockey world's eyes. Is he an awesome scout and player character evaluator? Yes. Is he a good GM? Absolutely not. A good GM wouldn't need 3 Assistant GM's. That screams lack of ability to me. He should have one GM that knows the paperwork part of the business inside and out. That's understandable. A former player that has zero college/business experience should have an assistant that does. But the Red Wings would be well to do to get the SCAM moved to the right position for him (Head of Scouting) and bring in a hockey mind that knows how to manage a roster and utilize his Assistant GM to strengthen it at ideal opportunities. The last 2-3 years have been plagued by roster MIS-management during the season and during UFA. Yzerman has excelled at the draft. He's a master when it comes to detecting a player's work rate/dedication and using that to forecast his ceiling. But he's an absolute imbecile when it comes to seizing an opportunity that comes along once every twenty years (Lindholm in UFA, Broberg/Holloway in Offer Sheet) and building a roster that contains his 1st round picks and allows these younger players to develop into their own around the veterans worth their salt. I like Stevie as a Detroiter and liked him as a player, but he's not doing well as our GM right now.

Good thing we have him Re-Learning the European Rink for the 5th straight year. Would have been stupid to have him in North America this year to get used to the North American rink. We need him to be as used to European hockey as possible all the way through Dylan Larkin's prime. As soon as Dylan starts to slow down in 3-4 years, that's when we want ASP to pop up to the NHL. That way, we can be average for the longest amount of time possible. If I'm the SCAM, I'm not waiting too long to get Chiarot, Petry, and Husso re-signed. That's got to be priority #1. ASP, Kasper, Danielson, Cossa, Augustine, MBN, Tuomisto, Buium, and Wallinder need another 4-5 years in Grand Rapids. They are nowhere near ripe enough to replace guys like Motte, Fischer, Chiarot, Petry, Husso, and Lyon. And competing for the services of Hampus Lindholm, Philip Broberg, and Dylan Holloway - FORGET IT. Those guys sucked. We're much better off spending that 16 million on Holl, Lageson, Chiarot, Petry, Husso, Fischer, Motte, Gustaffson, Walman, Kostin, Watson, etc. We want a revolving door of misfits from other teams that nobody will pick up if we put them on waivers taking a good amount of our cap space. That way, we don't have the room to add (8) first round picks to the line up (Lindholm 6OA, Broberg 8OA, Holloway 14 OA, ASP 17 OA, Kasper 8 OA, Danielson 9 OA, Cossa 15 OA, MBN 15 OA). That would be so STUPID to add (8) first round draft picks. 1st round draft picks never pan out in the NHL. And most of them are lazy and suck. Glad we have the SCAM running the show. I'm looking forward to seeing what struggling fringe NHL players he adds at the deadline and in UFA during 2025, and seeing how long we keep our 1st round picks ripening outside of Detroit. And if you think that's WHY it's painful to watch the Red Wings right now, you're WRONG. We've just been really unlucky the last 2 seasons and the start of this one. The SCAM knows what he's doing.

There's only so much you can do when you're close to the North Pole. I don't blame people in minus 40 degree weather for their food selections.

Anybody have a link? Gary The Imbecile Bettman has decided that restricting viewership to fans who have already paid is going to bring in more money to the NHL and not piss them off for some reason. Post or PM a link if you have one, please.

10-14-24 GDT - TRASH at RAGS - 7 PM Regard Time
Scott R Lucidi replied to Scott R Lucidi's topic in General
I'm a little torn on Chiarot because he doesn't have a total lack of skill for hockey in general. He just is not a good defenseman in his own end. He doesn't get it. But when he plays in the offensive zone, he looks really good usually. So it's frustrating to see a coach and GM who can't recognize/admit that they missed on the value of him at signing time, but can recoup some value by moving him to the 4th line. Not sure why they need to sign guys like Motte and Fischer when you have Chiarot that's super capable of filling that role. -
Looks like canned food plated.

Get Edvinsson and Seider with non-TRASH, and they will excel. We have a stupid GM and a stupid coach who think Chiarot and Petry are good. -
Skubal is a complete animal. Reminds me of Clemens in his prime. No BS. Just comes at you with his stuff.
