Marc has the cojones to do what most GMs would never even dream of. I cant help but mire that man and his massive pythons

Do a straight up Dunn for Cholowski swap. I would have no problem with that. Dunn certainly couldnt be worse than Cholo.
-
Certainly. He's stuck behind a lot of very established and capable vets. Could be a Fabbri situation... or he could just not be that good. I honestly dont know. Im a little discouraged that he doesnt kill penalties and that Berube went with Gunnarson when he needed another PKer in the playoffs. But if he can score 40+points hey that would be good.

He's about to be 24 and certainly has some room to grow yet. I just have no clue what the ceiling is there. And I am always gonna be wary of a guy on a good team, who's playing Alex Biega minutes, and the PP. I think a kid like that might come here under our circumstances and get exposed as unreliable pretty quickly. He'd have to be paired with a very reliable workhorse like Hronek or Seider I would think. But that means possibly playing much bigger minutes, something he's never done in his 200+ game NHL career.

I absolutely think he should have been flipped at this deadline if we had any plans to flip him at all. Hard-working, middle 6 winger, with sub $1 mil cap hit, and RFA control (so it's not just a rental). I think that's very VERY attractive to playoff teams at the TDL. We maybe could have got that extra first for Askarov out of a deal like that. Turn a waiver pickup into an elite goalie. Now we're in a much different scenario. Hard-working, middle 6 winger, with $3 mil cap hit, and no RFA control. He's an average deadline player now, and many of these players can be had. I think the fact that Yzerman handed out this contract means one thing: Fabbri is here to stay, he won't be flipped. Yzerman is willing to lose some cap hit on this deal, and his RFA control on negotiating a future contract. Fabbri has character and is a hard-worker, which Yzerman likes. Fabbri is closer to his home in Toronto, just got engaged, and is playing in the role on this team that he wants. Everything points to this guy being a Wing for a while in my mind. Now would CRL build a team around a middle-6 winger with character and a knee that's about blow? No. I'd flip him for picks while he's still healthy and performing for this rebuild. But it is what it is. This is the Yzerplan...

Ya'll realize Dunn is STL's 6th Dman and heavily deployed on the PP... I haven't watched enough STL to have a super good opinion of him - maybe he's some emerging great Dman or something and I just haven't watched enough - but as of today he plays very sheltered minutes, doesn't kill penalties at all, and benefits from being the backup pointman to Pietrangelo on the Blues PP. He's not a workhorse player for that team in the slightest. In fact Berube leaned more heavily on Gunnarson - their 7th Dman - some of the time in these playoffs. This guy has never jumped off the page at me, but feel free to explain to me what I'm missing, I'm all ears. I think you might trade for a guy like this and quickly come to find he's not all that different than Madison Bowey.

Boom. Right there. You don't think hateful racist speech is obscene? I know it's obscene. And any reasonable person would agree with me. Now you've dragged this thread off topic enough with your alt-right viewpoints. At least try to tie in hockey to what you're posting thanx.

Hate speech isn't allowed on this board bro They're great dude. Easy to get too. Was on em in college. Despite the fact that I had a job and was in a major university the gooberment was giving me like 500 bucks a month to buy doritos and dewy with lol. Honestly I couldn't believe folks WOULDNT get them (plenty dumbies didnt). It's a great way to secure votes too. Get 20% of the country to be reliant on foodstamps. Promise to increase them. BOOM. 20% of the vote right there. Honestly Sweden is too stupid to invent food stamps. Sure thing Karl Marx

He's a Euro, he's probably already on welfare and foodstamps

lmao you know its true too

The NHL didn't cancel anything. The league is as bigoted as it ever was. It was the players who took a stand and forced the stoppage. Watch the presser. They didn't mention Jacob Blake once. They stopped the game to recognize that black people (and black NHLers) are not treated equally in this country. The league would be smart to seize the opportunity and cancel play, but they won't because they'd rather cling to muh precious racism then dare to see equality achieved.

Both players would have sunk much lower in their respective drafts had Holland not been dumb enough to bet on sinking ships. Ras and McIsaac on the other hand are draft gems.
-
Says the man with no argument I like how Seider is already better than Hronek. Told you dumb ******* Seider was the best. Best Dman outside the NHL for over a year in fact.
-
That's easy to explain. Ras and McIsaac project to be much more valuable players than Zadina or Veleno.

It's not in the constitution. But the supreme court has routinely ruled that fighting words are not protected under the 1st amendment. Well since it is permissible to use violence in response to fighting words, then fighting words are therefore worse.

GenX. Literally the forgotten generation. Oh no we're so scared of your plaid shirts and sad Nirvanna songs. The last thing you'll ever see: My blue haired figure standing over you dabbing as I prepare to waterboard you in reduced sugar Soylent. As you slip into darkness the only thing you will hear is the bass of Tekashi69 tracks blaring over the battlefield. Literally... read:

Nice strawman. Fabbri had no leverage to take himself out of RFA control, but Yzerman let him do it anyway. Poor contract negotiation. Poor contract. Ad Hominem fallacy. Not surprising, but it is nice to see you change it up once in a while.
-
No problem my oppressed European brother. In USA we have freedom of speech. This is freedom to say just about anything in public... But there's the key words: "Just about". Because you do not have the freedom to use "fighting words". Fighting words as defined by wickerpedia: Fighting words are written or spoken words intended to incite hatred or violence from their target. Therefore hate speech is not free speech. Thank you.

>"Millenials are so lazy and dumb lol" >Millenials overthrow the government >Boomers lose their AARP benefits

>Player wants terms that benefit himself >Player has limited leverage >Yzerman gives in Wow, good job Stephen. A+. Great negotiating for the Red Wings my guy. Really shrewd. >This is dumb >Player real gud >Get over it Wow, good job KR. A+. Great discussing with you my guy. Really well reasoned.

Since when is equality a political issue to be debated? It's enshrined in the constitution. Hate speech is not free speech. C'mon dude. Also this is about Diversity in hockey. Quit derailing with your memorized lines from Fox News and keep it on topic.

McIsaac and Rasmussen should be higher. Cholowski should be lower. Isn't Pronman the jackass who ranked Seider really really low and then ate crow about it later?
