there's plenty of places to point the blame, but at the end of the day...the team just sucked in the post season. for the most part jimmy looked good (with several exceptions) but damn...the "defense" should have tried helping him out once in a while. line passes were sloppy, and the wings just aren't agressive enough. we need younger guys who are bigger and meaner -

the way lidstrom made that pass--without even looking--reminded me of igor larionov. and then the goal...i felt bad for cheering loud enough to wake my kids, but damn!!

i will be kicking myself forever over missing this...my only consolation is having money set aside for his next art show...and having one of his paintings inked on me...

i became a wings fan by accident...mike vernon was my favorite, so when he came to detroit, i followed....quickly fell in love with the team, especially the russian five. what happened to vladi still makes me cry to this day...got away from hockey for a bit while my kids were young but recently re-found my love for it...2 wings tattoos so far...
