Im kinda seeing where you're coming from With all the injuries last year I was happily surprised they got all the way to 5th seed in playoffs and Lidstrom was trying to do too much I think. He's the captain and felt he had to and Its probably why we love him . At 40 if he put up a solid season and the Wings go deep ... I'm saying right now .. He's a lock Like just having a knack for sticking out his stick at just the right time to make a forward look silly ? Or pullin back for an apparent pass and and slappin a wrister in the back of the net? He just seems to be in the right place .. He aint faster or stronger then most ... just smarter

They look determined .. But the reputation for choking is still intact until they make the finals

I dunno I thought they had a mediocre season considering they played like studs after the Olympics and just squeaked into the 5 hole seed Thought they had momentum and in stride entering playoffs Just wasnt enough left in the tank .. Gunna be a down year or two once in a while , it just happens

See where yer going with this. And yah I agree. Waiting till it's over to mourn a season. But if a loss happens, I won't regret 1 second of it That's my team. Win or lose. So until the chubby chick sings. I'll hang in there but if she Does I'll sit and listen.

It ain't over. And they are the Wings. But really. If they lose it's a terrible season? If they rolled over after the olympic break and quit playin ID say fail to do what they've done , I'm calling it a solid effort. So are we feeling entitled to win? Game 4 in the Joe thurs. I'll be rooting harder then ever iF they win yay. If they don't I salute my team that put it all out there and didn't quit.

70 points may be wishful thinking It'd be great. But ID take 50 points and a solid presence on the ice. Few mistakes smart hockey.
