Babcock hasn't decided if Alfredsson will play with 13/40 or Weiss/Franzen. Said Abdelkader could be on top-2 line or 3rd line with Helm. Babcock said Alfredsson will play the right point, alongside Kronwall, on top PP unit. deserves an own thread? -

With 14 F on the roster, and 2 (Nyquist, Andersson) RFAs to sign, i think Emmerton and Tootoo will be traded. It was already mentioned, that our C´s will be Dats, Weiss, Helm and Andersson. Byebye Emmerton!

Some news from Kenny: David Pagnotta @TheFourthPeriod Wings GM Ken Holland says he's talked to about 25 teams over the last few days. Holland wants a top-2/top-3 defenseman, but they're "hard to find" Holland also said he met with Lecavalier for half an hour. Lots of uncertainty over Vinny's future. Sounds too early in process right now. Barring a significant turn of events, doesn't sound like Detroit trades Filppula's rights. Contract talks will continue.
