Please don't sign a guy who has scored 646 goals, 1,599 pts. in his whole Hockey career. Please we didn't need goals in the playoffs. He can still score. Sign him to a one year deal with bonuses. Yes please don't sign him. We got Franzen......oh wait he gets hurt alot. He would score 35 plus with Dats on his line.

Don't sign Franzen to a huge stupid ass deal. This could have happened. With Rafalski gone it could happen I hope.

If they don't sign Franzen to a long term deal they couldn't have dealt him for Burns and a draft pick. Franzen has been horrible since the big signing. Don't know when he will show up. Wings need D bad. Holland could have had 5 picks in the 2nd round don't mean s***. All 5 picks could turn out to be s*** for the Franchise long term. It's is time for this team to get younger this season. Holland has to make some deals. Missed Brewer and Burns. Wish they kept Yzerman instead. At least he is trying to get Tampa better.

Yes sign him then try and deal Rafalski. Get rid of Salei. Then sign Eric Brewer. This teams needs toughness in front of Howard. The Sharks series showed it two years in a row.

Wings need to get tougher on D. Adding Brewer and Wisniewski would have helped in the Sharks Series. Also NHL Numbers has Franzen at $5,500,000 which makes more sense with the long term deal. CapGeek has him at $3,954,545.

Dats carried this team all playoffs. He is the next Wings captain no doubt. Let's hope Lidstrom returns though. lol.

Hudler was a huge disappointment and Ericsson is too. Holmstrom is terrible. Watching him try to stick handle is funny as hell. Salei was not interested in game 7 what I saw. Filppula and Franzen were not great at all these playoffs. 1 or 2 games don't count. This team needs a right handed centremen.

Since Franzen signed the big contract he has been a floater and injury prone to much is not deserving his $5.250 next season.

Wings have to start playing guys who want to skate. Roll with 3 lines or 2 lines. Then maybe guys will start getting it. Some are not competing. Modano-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Zetterberg-Filppula-Cleary Helm-Hudler-Abdelkader Franzen-Draper-Holmstrom Wings got to get scrappier in front of NIEMI.

I am getting pissed with him. Wings paid him too much and too long. He is hurt too much.

This series all comes down to Power Plays. Last year vs the Sharks. Wings were 2nd least pims in regular season. Sharks 27 PP Red Wings 15 PP Again this season WINGS 4 least pims in regular season. Game 1 Wings had 5 straight penalties. The WINGS got deflated. Give the WINGS 5 straight Power Plays and they win.

How is one of you best face off guys sitting Draper. How is Modano sitting over Miller or Eaves.

The only reason why this Sharks team won. 5 straight Power Plays helps win a goddam game. Sooner or later they are going to score. Whether or not the team played bad in the 1st or 2nd period. Your goalie always has to steal you a game. This was the one when HOWARD should have. He played great. Best as a WING imo. Sharks never stuck a WING the 2nd period on. BS. Nothing worse is when a REF has to take over a game. Pathetic offiating.

Howard is to blame on some of these last 5 out of the 6 loses. Wings got screwed vs Stars with that no goal that counted. Hawks game HOWARD can't stop 1 puck in the shootout. Hawks goalie stops 1 shot. Kings tying goal went over Howard's head went he didn't even have to go down. Tonights game goals 4 and 5 were the D's fault but goal 4 HOWARD had no idea where the puck was and didn't even have his paddle down to cover the 5 hole. Goal 5 left all alone but didn't need to dive if he knew where the puck was again. I really don't think HOWARD is a good short term or long term solution for the WINGS. WINGS need a goalie badly cause the way things are going they may miss the playoffs. Too many missed points cause of goaltending. Also look at the 1st 2 games of the season Over seas. WINGS were up 2 - 1 both games at the end of the 1st period and lost those 2 games and out shot the Blues. How does anyone not think we need goaltending. We need it bad.

So why have Refs if a linesman is allowed to call and over rule a Ref. Refs have the last say in a goal after they reviewed it, no way in hell can or should a lineman be given final say. Then just have 2 linesman do game. Ridiculous

No other ref nor linesman called that a goal except for the ref on the goal line said no goal. The people reviewing the goal in Toronto f***ed up royally bottom line. The replay showed 1 angle of the puck on the line and no other video showed the puck going in. Video review screwed up.
