I'm originally from Chicago, now living in Atlanta and will be moving to Greensboro, NC in about a month. In Chicago, I took a lot of crap from people because obviously the Wings and Blackhawks are rivals. Living down here, no one really cares. Hockey in the South is more like a circus sideshow act or something; most people aren't as into it as people in say, Montreal or New York.

Greatest memory of Patty Roy the Irishman (as my dad likes to call him) is his last game in Montreal. I swear I can remember him actually getting out of the net when we'd shoot the puck so that it would go in.

Oh, I know an Avs fan that hates Steve. I can't imagine WHY, but they do. So it can happen. I agree it makes no sense, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.

The 7-0 game. 2002 was basically the year we had 6 HOF'ers on the ice at any one time, so beating teams like that then was especially gratifying.
