I am not sure if it is a coincidence, but when I see the sight is down, I message Matt on facebook and then it goes back up. (the message never shows "read" so it just might be a coincidence, but I will keep doing it each time either way! Boys look good! what are they under McClellan, 14-4-1, so that is actually better than good! If they can continue winning 14 out of every 19 or so games, they should be solidly in the playoffs. That would project another 21 wins in the final 29 games. 48 win season? I'll take it. BTW, my 17 year old is having all four wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning! Routine, I know, but I am a bit nervous. Keep us in your thoughts!

Wow site is back up and so are the Wings from the first part of the season. Sens have a game in hand but we are only sitting a point behind them(Go Preds tonight). Tampa has 2 games in hand with 2 meteorite games Tues/Thurs as both are against the Sens. Meteorite game is one where you wish both teams to lose. Beat the Kraken tomorrow then beat Tampa on Sat and we will be in a good spot before the stupid 4 nations killing of momentum tourney.

Yzerman isnt going to make any significant trade deadline deals if the team is comfortably in the playoffs. Just getting in was the plan, and its still too early to give up picks and prospects for rentals.

Well hopefully the site will get a little busier now that we are good again. That was a huge win for the boys.

A lot of deals going down recently, I wonder if Yzerman joins the fray, or stands pat again? that could be a bad decision to stand pat.

If they are solidly in by deadline, I wouldn't mind a deal involving a expiring UFA Defenseman or top 6 forward. I kind of think it's a must at that point. We learned last season, one injury and it all comes crashing down. I still wouldn't mind a defenseman like Lindgren either. Could Boeser be an option at RW?

I didnt even know the site was back up until now The guys were gassed but still pulled it out. In OT, no less. This kind of grind game would have been a guaranteed loss under Lalonde.

I'll have to be honest and claim ignorance on why he was sent packing... Mantha - work ethic, injury prone, inconsistent Bertuzzi - malcontent, refused vaccination, wouldn't settle on what Yzerman was offering Hronek - other than being a lil'butthurt when Seider came onboard and was then relegated to #2 D overall - I got nuthin? Hronek was solid for us.
