It doesn't matter how he is doing on another team. He sucked when he was here. Therefore, he is gone. -

game after a blowout win

The Sharks do not have the makeup of winners. They are a fragile group. Even our former coach, knowing our team well, has shown that he can't always use that to his advantage. As far as I'm concerned, they are the supposed winner as everyone including some Wing fans seem to think we are lucky to even be here. I don't buy THAT, but .. anyway my point is we needed 1 win. And a convincing win is better than us winning 2-1. The Sharkies then would say "oh, it's OK boys, we almost closed it out." Now that they were blown out, they are using the line of "weird game. lucky Wings all night ..." blah blah blahhhh. It's embarrassing to them believe it! Because Nabokov has finally been lit up like he shouldve been at least 2 other games. The floodgates are open. And if I'm a Sharkie fan, reality is, he CAN be lit up again by a Wings squad that will dominate IF we get: -fair officiating BOTH ways -Jimmy NOT giving up deflating goals and just makes the routine saves. The Sharks are no match just like pretty much any other team. Wings cannot be matched when those two things BOTH happen. 7-1? No biggie? We shall see. But I'm betting the Sharks ARE talking a good game right now, but inside, at the same time, the doubt has begun - if nothing more than "geez guys, what if??" We win Game 5. Just 1 more. One game. I predict the series is over!! Unless of course we get the refereeing in Game 7 thats the same s*** calls that had the Sharks up 3-0 a day ago. Fair calls. Jimmy just being solid. This series is ours. And the Sharks know this summer will be a disaster for their team after 4 playoff flop in a row (the last being a blown 3-0 series lead in 2010). Management WILL NOT ice this lineup next October. That's not pressure? Wings lose - noone but US care. The national media in Canada and US had us picked first, to miss the playoffs and second, now lucky to even beat Phoenix. Go WINGS!!!! -

Possibility that Williams plays Game 5
Vladifan and one other reacted to Wings_Dynasty for a post in a topic
Here's my thinking. Lose 3 games. No Ritola. Win game with Ritola in. Play with Ritola in. When certain guys are in the team plays different. You get different looks and you play a different game because it affects who you get passes from and who you pass to. You play a different game when Datsyuk is your center as opposed to Draper or Helm. With Ritola there is more play along the boards on his line, with him doing it there is another player open waiting for a pass or covering a man who would otherwise be the guy playing along the boards with Williams just standing around waiting for the puck. -

I could put up points playing with Hossa. Kope is a decent player, but I doubt he be as successful playing with less skilled players. -

how not to play a 2-on-1

Raffi's stick could have been positioned better. To be fair, it can be argued that Rafalski thought Thornton was going to try to hit Marleau down low and was trying to block that lane while the trailers caught up. Had Howard not set up a lawn chair outside the crease, he'd have probably stopped the shot. Although some blame falls on Raffi, it's mainly on Howard. -

So what are we supposed to do in this thread? Agree with the OP and pine for a player that was awful for us, didn't fit under the cap and was generally disliked by almost every Wings fan? The only good thing Kopecky ever did for us was help lure Hossa in for a year. I'd rather entertain a discussion about having Sammy back. -
1 pointWRONG!!! Sorry, but as a former Toronto Maple Leafs fan I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that the majority of Leafs fans actually love Tomas Kaberle. The key issue here is that the team is going through a re-build! They don't want to get rid of Kaberle but they realize the fact that they NEED to in order to survive. F.Michael was correct when he said that Kaberle has 3-4 good years left and Leafs fans would be foolish to think that he will be part of Burkes "final plan".

Shark Tank sounds
wingsdiehard13 gave a reaction for a post in a topic
god... for the third time it's obvious there's way more of those people in the shark tank... it seems like the crowd is just as loud whether a real penalty isn't called or whether they don't know what they're booing about. whereas in most other arenas, you can tell that there are less people booing about something they shouldn't be booing about compared to when something that actusally deserved to be booed happens -

1 pointSeriously? Hasek on every category except the negative ones like "biggest bastard". Sorry, Dom, you're not even a nominee on that one. Yeah, Roy could keep pucks out of the net, which is handy in a goalie, but he is not a MAN like Dom. Oakland or Cleveland?
